You first need to require the blocked IP if there is any specific one; You can Google your IP by typing “my IP” in google and then you will be able to see your current IP on the machine if no VPN extension is used on the browser itself

Solutions

There are two sections to check in order to solve your IP problem in WHM:

  1. cPHulk
  2. configServer firewall

1. cPHulk

In your whm panel, search for cPHulk(full name: cPHulk Brute Force Protection) and click on the cPHulk Brute Force Protection result

whm search cphulk

Check out the blacklist tab and look for the table of the banned IPs

cphul blacklist panel

If you see the IP you’re searching, you can remove the IP from the table and you should be good to go; BUT if you don’t see the IP or any IP at all, or after removing it, you’re still unable to access the site or server, try the second solution, configServer firewall.

2. configServer firewall

Search for “configServer” in the whm and click on the ConfigServer Security & Firewall

whm search configserver

In the configserver security & firewall page, scroll down till you find the “firewall deny IPs” (or search for it in your browser of course) and click on the “firewall deny ips” button

find (Firewall deny IPs) in the configserver firewall section

Here you will find a list of blocked IPs in your server and you can search for the IP you’re looking for in there and remove the whole line containing that IP from there, then click on the “change” button below the text, then you will be taken to the next page if the operation was successful, and you will notice the reset button, reset, and you should be good to go.
